"How do you get over someone?"
You do just that.
You wake up every morning, put on some clothes, even though they're probably sweats, and you try to do your make-up and hair, but end up just throwing it in a bun and giving up on the make-up part.
You keep your tears to yourself, while blasting the music WAY to loud, because you need something to drown out your thoughts. You listen to Taylor Swift. Again. And again. And again.
You stay inside the house for a few days, but, eventually, you realize that there's better things out there, and that you gotta pull yourself together.
Then, you start putting on nice clothes, even though you still feel like you're dying, because does the world need to know that? Nope. So you start putting on your make-up again, and you pretend everything's okay.
You learn to shut off any emotions you may have, and you pretend it doesn't bother you, until someday, it actually doesn't. Well... not as much, anyway.
And then you actually start feeling better. It might take a month, it might take 3 (fucking) years, but you start feeling better at some point. I promise you this.
The memories will fade - you will soon forget the colour of his eyes, and he'll forget the colour of yours. Does it hurt? Yes. Will you get over it? Absolutely.
